Unfortunately not. They’re both pretty humid places, which can cause the wood to swell.
Yes, as long as the surface you’re applying NatureWall to isn’t exposed to the fire’s combustible materials - it needs to be 45cm from the fire source or flue. Make sure to consult your stove or fire installer for advice, as every situation is unique.
Yes, you do. You’ll need to rest the boards for three days in the room you’re going to be installing them in. There’s more information in the fitting section.
It is. Anyone can cut NatureWall boards using the kind of wood saw available at every DIY store. Check the fitting section for more information.
Of course you can! Your very own NatureCeiling. Just follow the same fitting guidelines used for walls.
Nothing you can’t find in a normal DIY store. A pencil, spirit level, tape measure, and wood saw. You can find full instructions here. The only other thing you’ll need is a NatureWeld J-Roller too.
Yes, and loads of our customers create beautiful, useful walls in their homes by doing just that. Make sure you drill through to the wall beneath, and use the right fastener for your wall type.
The simplest way to work it out is by using the Coverage Calculator. If you prefer pencil and paper, then just measure the height and the width of your wall in metres, and multiply them. Then round up. Each NatureWall pack is 1m2.
Example: Your wall is 2.5m high by 3m wide. 2.5 x 3 = 7.5. You need 8 packs of NatureWall.
Each pack includes enough for one square metre (1m2). That includes 10 mixed boards: Four 1190mm x 127mm, and six 595mm x 127mm. All boards are 4mm thick.
We finish every board with a protective UV oil, which makes NatureWall resistant to water, scuffs and scratches. You can use it as a splashback, but not in areas of high humidity or where boards might come into contact with lots of water.
We use 100% FSC Certified European oak. It’s just the best. We love it.
Your boards will already be finished with a protective UV oil, so you can’t paint them yourself. But if you’re looking for a specific colour, get in touch and we might be able to help.
No – as the boards are finishes in protective oils you can’t paint directly over them however if you are looking for a specific colour please get in touch.
Of course! Everyone should get the chance to live with nature. There are no harmful VOCs, and the protective oil helps guard against splashes and stains.
Absolutely. If you’ve eaten in a restaurant, or stayed in a hotel with beautiful wood panelling it might even have been NatureWall. It’s hard wearing, easy to fit, and doesn’t contain any harmful VOCs. Let’s start a conversation.
We all love our homes looking their best! The protective oil used to finish our boards means you can wipe them with a damp cloth. Or you can give them a quick vacuum using a brush attachment.
Every blend is different, and we sometimes include extra of a more dominant colour to achieve the right effect. The beauty is in the variety, we reckon.
We’ve developed a clever system of high bond, pressure sensitive adhesive tape that will keep your NatureWall boards fixed securely in place. It’s easy to use, and anyone can do it. But it only works properly if you follow the fitting guidelines, so make sure to check them out.

We can only guarantee NatureWall installed using our fitting guidelines, and that includes using the NatureWeld J-Roller. Applying pressure another way might work, but we can’t guarantee it definitely will.
There’s a reason ‘Rest’ is the first step in the fitting guidelines. It’s really important that your boards get used to the environment they’ll be in permanently, so let them breathe. Plus, you won’t be covered by the NatureWeld Guarantee.
Sample packs take around 48 hours. Orders under 20m2 take around five days, and larger orders can take seven days. There might be the occasional delay, as we only send out the best wood and you can’t always rush nature. Once we tell you your order has been dispatched, it’ll be with you within 24 hours via Parcelforce or Palletways.
